Iowa College Students Experience Thriving Technology Community

Last Friday, Appcore got the opportunity to share our technology story with 35 students from colleges around the Des Moines area as part of the Experience Iowa Technology program.

Appcore was the first stop on the student’s technology tour and our Senior Programmer Nate Gordon shared our company history and provided a product overview of Appcore AMP, our cloud automation management platform.

Nate also shared information about Appcore’s growth, success and how we transitioned from providing Infrastructure-as-a-Service to telcos and data centers to now offering cloud automation technology to service providers. Nate also provided a product demo, answered student’s questions and guided them on a tour of the facility.

Appcore embraced the opportunity to share with technology students the innovative cloud products we are developing in Des Moines, Iowa. As technology and cloud computing continue to advance, we understand the value of exposing students to the thriving local technology and local startup community.

This program is hosted by the Technology Associate of Iowa and is an initiative that brings students from Iowa colleges together with premier technology companies in the state. The goal of this program is to introduce students to Iowa’s large and growing tech industry.
